Getting to the famous Folie Douce when skiing is only possible via Courchevel, however if you are planning to ski you can access it via Saulire Express lift in Meribel for pedestrians. The best area in Meribel for ski in and ski out options is Meribel Mottaret without a doubt – sitting at 1750m it’s a very purpose built area in which those stunning ski in and ski out chalets are located. This area of the resort can also be the sunniest on a whole.

A few hot favourites are Rond Point des Pistes “Ronnie”, Lodge du Village (LDV) – Meribel Village, and Jack’s Bar. Our personal favourites are The Tav (La Taverna) and La Copina and we’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a great time when staying in Meribel Town.
