Your day begins with collection from your Geneva hotel before departing on a scenic drive through the Alps towards the Mont Blanc Valley.
As you travel across the French border and A1 highway you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains before arriving in Chamonix.
Once in resort, your time is entirely your own with the transport only option. For guests who have purchased attraction tickets in advance the day follows this outline:

*Children under 3 are unable to visit the Aiguille du Midi due to safety risks; however, they can visit the Mer de Glace glacier.

Aiguille du Midi
One of the highlights of any trip to Chamonix is the legendary Aiguille du Midi cable car. This remarkable journey will carry you high into the Mont Blanc massif, ascending to up to 3,842 metres, where you will have amazing views of France, Switzerland and Italy.
If you’ve pre-booked with us in advance, our drivers will provide you with the tickets on the day. The cable car journey will take place in two stages. This iconic cog railway climbs to approximately 1,913 metres above sea level, providing stunning views across the Chamonix Valley.

No. This is a private transport-based excursion rather than a guided tour. You are free to explore Chamonix independently and enjoy the attractions that interest you most.
The excursion operates in most weather conditions. However, mountain attractions such as Aiguille du Midi may occasionally close due to high winds or adverse weather. If this happens, there is still plenty to see and do within Chamonix itself. We can also postpone the trip with 48 hours notice free of charge.
