How to Get From Geneva to Chamonix

How to get from Geneva to Chamonix

There are a wide range of different ways you can get to Chamonix from Geneva, including:

Airport transfers

You can get an airport transfer directly from Geneva airport that will take you straight to the resort with minimal fuss. This is often the best choice as you do not need to worry about navigating public transport timetables or taking on the challenging mountain roads yourself.

The journey will usually take between one hour 15 minutes and one hour 30 minutes, depending on traffic and weather conditions. There are two options you can choose from, including:

Private transfers

A private transfer gives you exclusive access to one of our vehicles. As soon as you land, a car will be waiting for you and your group. You will then be driven straight to your accommodation in what is a door-to-door service.

There’s no waiting around or having to share the car with strangers, and our private transfers are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Shared transfers

We also offer regular shared transfers to and from Geneva Airport to Chamonix. This option will see you share a vehicle with others going to the resort in the same direction.

We’ll cover a range of ski resorts, including Chamonix, on the journey and will stop at a destination that is close to your accommodation.
