Tignes Transfers

Located in the French Alps, Tignes is famous for its record amounts of snowfall, making it the best place for skiers and snowboarders to carve up the slopes. The area has three main villages: Val Claret, Le Lac and Le Lavachet, which are linked together by a 24 hour free bus service.

Val Claret is 2,100 metres high and has a superb position right at the foot of the Grande Motte funicular. Le Lac and Le Lavachet have a more cosy village feel to them and also offer easy access to the slopes and over to Val d’Isère. The villages have a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants and have a lively, friendly, buzz about them.
