ABOUT LES GETS
Located in the French Alps and full of pretty wooden chalets and balcony-clad buildings, Les Gets has heaps of charm. Les Gets is the village next to Morzine , on the southern edge of the Portes du Soleil. It has two ski areas either side of the town: Mont Chéry and Chavannes.
Les Gets sits 100m higher than Morzine, so is often snowier. Up on the mountain there’s a great variety of ski runs, and lots of them twist and turn through the forest, both perfect for skiing. It’s easy to ski into Morzine and on to Switzerland- so you can ski two countries in one day.
Les Gets has undergone a lot of recent building work and beautiful stunning chalets and apartments have been extended in this village. It is renowned for families due to very well connected ski areas, stunning alpine village and community vibe here.
A charming Alpine village, neighbouring Morzine, perfect for a ski holiday.
An excellent lift system that connects it to Europe’s largest ski area
Ski-in, ski-out French Alps resort that’s really convenient to get around and great for families.

TOP THINGS TO DO IN LES GETS
Les Gets is one of those resorts that you will be forever returning to. The village is a very sweet and traditional Alpine village. It is one of the most magical places to spend your time in the French Alps.
While exploring the forest tree ski runs in Les Gets & then even skiing over to Morzine & then able to ski back while enjoying the mountain restaurants and bars along the way.
When you are not skiing we would recommend visiting the year round Alta Lumina forest trail. This is a beautiful and rich emotional experience about the enchanting environment shared through the poetics of light, music, imagery, set design and interactivity.
Tasting the local cheese savoyard specialties then look no further than the unique shop and restaurant of La Fruitière des Perrières. You are not to miss an evening there as its delight for your taste buds and cultural experience too. For a more local vibe with pub feel and local drinks you can enjoy Le Boomerang or maybe you prefer a night in at your own accommodation, then can also do delivery for you.
Morzine is more known for the lively Apres experience, which you can easily still access via the local bus back to Les Gets however Les Gets still has apres and plenty of bars to choose from, one our favourites is the L’Aprèski Bar Resto – Les Gets. After a fun day skiing you can ski straight in from the Chavannes piste. Local DJS and music events happening most days and also plenty of pub style food to have a bite to eat while enjoying your Apres.
